Click count: At the recently held 18th Intel Internet Data Center Conference (2025 IPDC Summit), Intel gathered together with over 500 representatives from industry-leading cloud service providers, Internet companies, industry customers, OEMs/ODMs, and other ecosystem partners to engage in in-depth discussions on over 20 hot industry topics, including the integration of cloud and AI. They jointly explored the collaborative path across the entire value chain, from computing infrastructure to industry applications. Through practical experience sharing by industry-leading cloud and Internet companies as well as a group of ecosystem partners, they explored the application innovations brought about by technological evolution and implementation, as well as their driving role in industrial upgrading.
Guo Wei, Vice President of Intel Marketing Group and General Manager of China Region, said, "After rapid technological iteration and leaps in basic model capabilities in recent years, AI is evolving from a simple response tool to an intelligent partner capable of autonomous understanding and problem-solving, driving the explosive growth of intelligent agents and AI applications. As AI accelerates its implementation across various industries, the deep integration of computing power and cloud services is reshaping the landscape of intelligent infrastructure. With high performance and ease of use advancing together, AI is accelerating from technological breakthroughs to large-scale commercial applications, thereby driving the economy and society into a new chapter of intelligent development."
Guo Wei, Vice President of Intel Marketing Group and General Manager of China Region
Based on this, Intel is committed to building a "toolbox" for partners that is both versatile and customizable, allowing each business scenario to match the appropriate computing power solution. This will bring technology closer to reality and enable AI innovation to be precisely embedded into the landscape of each industry like a "jigsaw puzzle," promoting true win-win cooperation. At the conference, partners from Baidu AI Cloud and China Mobile Migu demonstrated in their speeches how they can work together with Intel to drive the comprehensive upgrade of AI cloud products, while promoting the implementation of AI technology in practical areas such as content creation, to win users' hearts and minds in a way that better understands the business and is closer to their needs, and to promote high-quality and sustainable development of the industry in the wave of intelligence.
Chen Baoli, Vice President of Intel's Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group and General Manager of China Region
Chen Baoli, Vice President of Intel's Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group and General Manager of China Region, also stated in his speech, "Computing power has become the core driving force of the digital economy. The wave of large models and native AI applications is posing new demands on processor performance. However, with its mature ecosystem and general-purpose computing power advantages, the CPU remains the cornerstone driving application diversification. To this end, we are deeply investing in four major areas: computing power cornerstone, AI empowerment, storage expansion, and energy efficiency pioneer. This allows computing power to be closer to data sources, more efficiently converted into business value, further unleashing hardware potential, and helping enterprises continue to grow in the intelligent era."
As the "soulful hub" of the entire computing system, the CPU plays an irreplaceable role, whether it is coordinating the collaborative work of multiple accelerators or carrying complex and diverse computing tasks. The Intel® Xeon® 6 processor, with its integrated AI acceleration units such as AMX, powerful I/O performance, richer core count and higher single-thread performance, greater memory bandwidth and capacity, specialized RAS reliability support, and highly flexible architecture design, not only easily meets the challenges of traditional workloads but also serves as an ideal main CPU for AI systems. It is both a stable engine for enterprises to confidently cloud-enable and run critical tasks and a core cornerstone for driving emerging applications such as generative AI, intelligent analysis, and real-time reasoning, allowing users to achieve an ideal balance between performance, efficiency, and reliability. During the conference, customer representatives from ByteDance, Tianyi Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Meituan, Ninebot, and JD Cloud also shared their explorations and practices in collaboration with Intel in driving computing power upgrades for large-scale applications, improving the efficiency and resource utilization of AI reasoning, building a highly reliable data storage foundation, achieving linear expansion of container cloud density, accelerating intelligent transportation and in-vehicle connectivity, and creating hardware innovation platforms verified through peak real-world scenarios
So far, the Intel Internet plus Data Center Summit has been held for eighteen years, continuously witnessing and participating in the profound transformation and steady growth of the industry. In this process, Intel has not only gathered more and more local ecosystem partners, but also established extensive and in-depth cooperation with cloud customers, promoting the application and scenarios of the Internet industry to continuously expand towards diversified integration and deep implementation. In the future, Intel will continue to move forward side by side with local ecosystem partners, continuously explore new models and applications, and jointly build a more resilient and vibrant digital ecosystem.
